Just Breathe

Psalm 18:1-2 (AMP) “I love You [fervently and devotedly], O Lord, my strength.” The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold."

To love someone fervently is to love with passion and intensity. When we recognize God as our strength, our rock, our fortress and refuge, we acknowledge Him as our supreme Lord. We go to Him when we are weak, when we need stability, when we need a place of safety and security. I am so thankful that He is never-changing! I could not imagine serving a God that has mood swings or changes opinions as frequent as the waves crash into the sea.

He is the horn of our salvation - this is something to grab a hold of! To never let go of the One who pulled us up out of the pit of death and destruction. When we pray fervently, God is there. When we refuse to let go of His promises and remain adamant about the Truth, we will not fail! Take refuge in Jesus, drop the weight of the world from your shoulders and relax in the arms of a loving Savior. He will give you rest and comfort from within. Stay rooted and planted in the soil of the Word and consistently soak in the Living Water of whom all life is given.

Breathe - God is for you. Breathe - God has not forgotten you. Breathe - there is Hope! Breathe - He has something great just ahead, specifically for you! Breathe - there is no guilt or shame - because your Father has already made the payment in full through His Son. Your sins are forgiven and you are made brand-new. Just breathe - He is with you & He is risen - He is alive & we have been given resurrection life!

2 Timothy 1:9-10 (TPT) He gave us resurrection life and drew us to himself by his holy calling on our lives. And it wasn’t because of any good we have done, but by his divine pleasure and marvelous grace that confirmed our union with the anointed Jesus, even before time began! This truth is now being unveiled by the revelation of the anointed Jesus, our life-giver, who has dismantled death, obliterating all its effects on our lives, and has manifested his immortal life in us by the gospel.

Malachi 3:6 (TLB) "For I am the Lord - I do not change. That is why you are not already utterly destroyed, for my mercy endures forever."
