Don't Grow Weary

Galatians 6:9-10 (AMP) Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being], and especially [be a blessing] to those of the household of faith (born-again believers).

How often do you find yourself growing weary in doing good and doing what is right? Do you see those who aren't doing what is right yet get away with things they should be punished for and you feel like you are being overlooked and missing out? I want to encourage you to keep going! Continue sowing seeds of blessing and pouring out what God has filled you up with. You are a vessel being used by God. Your character will be tested as you confess your faith because the enemy wants to take you out.

Stand firm! Do not give up and do not back down. Bring your concerns to God and leave them at the altar. You were never meant to carry the weight of worry and defeat. This is what Jesus came to rescue us from! He defeated the enemy and when we are in Christ we are no longer our old selves, walking about sad and down, complaining about life's woes. We have to take the victory that has been won through Christ and allow God to use us to help others.

Once you find something so wonderful, you share it with the world, in due season you will reap your harvest. Farmers do not plant seed on Monday and expect a harvest on Tuesday. There is a process taking place underneath the surface and our role during this process is to remain faithful and obedient. He will do His part when we do ours. God will not do everything for us because we must always be learning and remain teachable. So whatever season you are in right now, rejoice and know that God is with you even in the storm. Resist the enemy, remain faithful, and receive your harvest.

1 Peter 5:7-9 (TPT) Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you. Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. For you know that your believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles you endure.
