Desperate for Him!

ree

Let me explain something to you. I don't understand the love, presence or anointing of God. It's too wonderful for my limited comprehension. All I know is that I'm desperate for Him! I've been spending daily time in worship, with tears flowing as I cry out for more of His presence. It's not just that I need Him but the secret to my intimate relationship with Jesus is...I WANT HIM! It's not my need that motivates my praise but my desperate pursuit of His presence and the desire to know Him better. It's a passion that's burns deep within. I WANT HIM with every ounce of my being! He's done so much for me.

Yes, there have been so many tangible miracles that I've experienced but the greatest one was that He chose me as His child and extravagantly displays His love in the intangible. It's His presence that causes me to shout, cry and dance. It removes all fear, worry and doubt and it's replaced with the incredible knowledge of the fact that He cares. Of course, we know that through His Word but it's more than head knowledge. It's the heartfelt peace of knowing He's got it all under control and all we need to do is keep flaming our passion and remain focused on Him! What an incredible God we serve!

Psalm 84:2 (NKJV) My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Psalm 91:1-3 (NKJV) Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods.

Psalm 23 The Message (MSG) God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your Word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure. You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I’m back home in the house of God for the rest of my life.

Song of Solomon 2:14 (NKJV) “O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet and your face is lovely.”
