Too Far for His Love to Reach?

What is this love that reached into the pit, pulled us out, cleansed and adorned us with such peace, acceptance, purity, and strength? I’ve got to tell you, it’s so much greater than anything we could ever experience or possibly comprehend.

Then I watch…as He reveals His love through me to those my flesh has previously deemed as unlovable. The angry, bitter and what I have judged as ignorant, my soul now weeps bitterly for their deliverance and salvation. God is revealing His love to and through me in a new way and it's mind blowing to my flesh and quite convicting.

How often do we write people off as hopeless? Yet…our God…He never gave up on us. There was a day we each may have seemed that way in someone’s eyes…yet... Then I consider some incredible men and women of God who by all earthly reasoning were without hope, yet today the testimonies of their deliverance and incredible life-change are powerfully setting the captives free! Pastor Todd White for instance, a man who spent most of his life as a hard-core drug addict, never holding down a job and no clue of how to be a man, much less a godly man. He is now seeing incredible miracles and transformed lives through his ministry. What if you met a man named Saul today? A man who was involved in the murder of innocent Christians and hated anything associated with them. Could we recognize his Kingdom potential? Yet look at what he was able to accomplish as God transformed him into the apostle we know as Paul.

Whether you have labeled others or yourself as hopeless, just know that’s exactly the type of person our God loves to place His finger on and radically transform into a vessel of honor, even against all earthly odds.

1 Corinthians 1: 26-31 (NKJV)  For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:9 (NKJV) For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
