Stand United

Psalm 133:1,3 (AMPC) Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the dew of [Mount] Hermon coming down on the hills of Zion; For there the Lord has commanded the blessing: life forevermore.

As many nations around the world are divided, I have great peace knowing that there is still hope for the lost and broken. When brothers and sisters in Christ stand united, fighting for the same cause, God commands a blessing upon us. I am so thankful that we have the opportunity to stand together with other Believer's during these seemingly dark and perilous times. Alone we can do little but together we can do so much to impact the Kingdom of God. We get to be a bright light in the darkness, and God will continue to bless us for the great impact we are making in the lives of those we serve.

Hebrews 6:10-12 (NLT) For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do. Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.

As Christians we must desire to stand united among one another, regardless of our indifference. Jesus is the head of the body and there is only 1 body, not 37 or 52… we are 1 and as long as we keep Jesus at the center of everything, we will remain united and be blessed in our efforts. The presence of the Holy Spirit will do the convicting, we just have to live our lives pure and holy before the Lord, setting an example to those around us. May we all be united in our journey to share Jesus with all the earth!

Isaiah 12:3-6 (NLT) With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! In that wonderful day you will sing: “Thank the Lord! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. Let all the people of Jerusalem shout his praise with joy! For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.”
