Pushing Through

2 Chronicles 15:7 (ESV) But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded.

I feel an urgency to share this over you today - that no matter what you are facing, now is not the time to give up, now is the time to PUSH THROUGH! Do not allow the devil to win the battle before you, keep pressing into God, keep showing up to prayer, keep believing the Truth of God's Word. Just as the pain seems to intensify, know that your breakthrough is only a few more pushes away. Just as a mother gives birth to her baby, the contractions and labor pains are what brings forth the reward of a child.

Every experience we go through in life teaches us something. Without being broken and in pain and allowing God to completely wreck us and mold us into what He desires, we will not be very relatable to those who need ministered to. For someone struggling in their marriage, they will be seeking advice from other married couples who have gone through similar trials, a single friend who has never been married will not be able to give the support needed during this season.

What do you make of your life experiences? Do you look back and only think of the pain and hell you have gone through and feel broken and left out? I know someone in my family that feels everyone is out to get him, especially the government. He had a lot of bitterness rooted down deep from decades of pain that has not been brought to the surface so anything negative that happens to him is always blown out of proportion. Wisdom and common sense have been left behind and frustration and anger were brought to the forefront of his mind. As cliché as it sounds there are many biblical truths to thinking positive and casting down all the negative thoughts that do not come from our Father. We must think with the mind of Christ and remove all other thoughts - thoughts of poverty, having a victim-mentality, thoughts of rage against those who hurt us.

Don't let go of the promises God has for you - meditate on the scripture day and night - you will be rewarded in the end but you have to keep PUSHING!

Joshua 1:8 (VOICE) Let the words from the book of the law be always on your lips. Meditate on them day and night so that you may be careful to live by all that is written in it. If you do, as you make your way through this world, you will prosper and always find success.

Galatians 6:9 (MSG) So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.

Philippians 4:12-13 (TPT) I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.

2 Corinthians 10:5 (TPT) We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.
