Finding Your Purpose in God's Kingdom

Sunday afternoon we started assisting with the pre-marital class at our church. As each couple got up to tell us about themselves it amazed me how the hand of God strategically brought them together and to our church. He really does care about the details of our lives! Each of us have amazing testimonies of miraculous events that were wrought by the hand of God! Does that amaze you as much as it does me?!

Psalm 8:4 (NKJV) What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?

Think about it...though the enemy would love to have us believe that we are an afterthought, an accident designed without purpose with nothing to offer the Kingdom of God...He sees us as a masterpiece designed and created with incredible purpose! Each of His children are completely necessary to fulfill His will in the earth! And He will do whatever is necessary to get us to the end result!

Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Stop listening to lies of the enemy. Draw close to God, study His Word, and begin to position yourself to receive His marching orders, then surrender and obey! You'll soon realize there's no greater blessing than living your life doing exactly what you were created to do! Added bonus: As you seek Him and His will, He'll anoint you to do it like no one else can! So, there's no point in comparing your gifts to that of others! There's no comparison! We are each uniquely designed for a special detail in the Kingdom of God!! No pride, jealousy or insecurity needed! No special abilities necessary. Just a holy and powerful army, marching together, side by side, in unison, with a common goal, to be pleasing to God, seeking His face and doing His will! Each member encouraging the other to reach their full potential by His Spirit!

God has a position in this army with your name on it! It's time to step up, put your boots on and take your place!

Joel 2:7-8 (KJV) They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk everyone in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

Romans 12:6-8 (NLT) In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

1 Peter 4:10 (AMP) Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor].
