Trials

There are a lot of crazy things and even unbiblical things being taught & preached from pulpits with multitudes buying into what is being said. One false belief that many have encountered is that once you follow Jesus, your life will be perfect, you will not have problems, God will bless you abundantly with money and things and you will be so happy and the devil will never bother you again…..(paraphrased)

The Truth is written in the Word that we WILL have trials and tribulations. We WILL be persecuted BECAUSE of Jesus. God's desire IS to bless you abundantly, but there is a clause… if you obey. Accepting Christ, doesn't mean you now do everything perfect and never sin again. Accepting Christ is the first step in changing your entire life, with an added bonus of Heaven! But Christ died for more than a ticket to Heaven, He died so we can actually ENJOY our life while we are here on this sin-filled earth. We don't have to be miserable while we go through tough situations. We get to trust our Creator and give Him our worries and watch Him do miracles! Life IS tough, people are mean, but we have a duty to win them with LOVE! The love of Christ through you is what will win the lost.

Jesus said, "peace I leave with you." My question is, have you taken it? If I go to someone's house and I leave them a nice apple pie, what good is it if they never take it and eat it? If I leave my car and car keys at someone's house that needed a car and tell them, here is my car, I'm leaving it with you, but they never grab the keys and take the car, what help would it be? Jesus gives us peace but we have to take it. We can't let it sit around. You may have to pray and fight for your peace to stay, but it's there! The devil wants to convince you that you have no hope and your circumstances are bigger than God. You must stand your ground and tell the enemy, NO! There is no greater way to get back at the enemy than to remain calm and peaceful during a situation where most would lose their mind and tell everyone with a listening ear, how bad things are going. Help someone else with a need during your trial, focus on being a blessing rather than needing a blessing or a miracle.

Don't give the enemy any credit! Give God the glory for taking you through to the other side. Begin to rejoice because trials aren't forever, they end, and on the other side, is your breakthrough! Take the peace that Jesus left for you and rejoice and celebrate your victory! The power of life and death is in your tongue! Let miracles flow out of your mouth freely!

John 14:27 (AMP) Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

John 16:33 (AMP) I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world. [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

Tribulation - distress or suffering resulting from oppression or persecution; a trying experience.
