Deep Longings

Psalm 84:1-2 (TPT) God of Heaven’s Armies, you find so much beauty in your people! They’re like lovely sanctuaries of your presence. Deep within me are these lovesick longings, desires and daydreams of living in union with you. When I’m near you, my heart and my soul will sing and worship with my joyful songs of you, my true source and spring of life!

As children of God, we are sanctuaries of His very presence. We all have this inner longing deep within us that cries out for more of Him. No matter how fulfilling our lives may seem through our work, belongings, or experiences, we will never be truly fulfilled outside of His presence.

Psalm 16:11 (AMPC) You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

In His presence we find peace, rest and fullness of joy! What a wonderful promise from our Father. Throughout every season in life we have the ability to find peace, rest and joy in Him. Regardless of which time zone or country you find yourself in today, God is there with you. He goes before you He knows your every need and desire. Continue drawing near to Him and He will draw near to you. Prioritize your time with Jesus and miracles will unfold. It's a simple cause and effect when you seek first His kingdom…. Then He will handle everything else.

Stay in obedience, know the Word, stand firm in your faith, do not grow weary, do not back down, do not bow down to the world's idols. Stand up for Jesus just as passionately as he died and bled out for you! Selah.
