The Crossroads

The enemy is constantly fighting for our attention. Every attack comes with crossroads. It's at that point that we must choose which path to take... Will it be anxiety, stress, and worry? Will it be praise and worship, as the focus quickly changes from fear to faith? Only with the latter choice will peace and victory come.

James 4:7 (KJV) says: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The Greek translation of resist is: Anthistemi; To stand against, to oppose, to withstand. The definition of withstand? Remain undamaged or unaffected by; resist.

As we resist his temptations to run in fear, gripe, worry and complain and actively stand against him in Jesus name, he has no choice but to remove the destructive pressure he has placed in our lives! And we WILL come out undamaged and unaffected!

Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

As a child of God you've been given all authority over all forces of evil! The only way he can win the battle against you is by convincing you that his power and plans are greater than your Father's. This isn't even a close race! Trust God, stand strong and resist his manipulation. The amazing thing is, as you worship your way through the storm, your peace will remain intact even before the testimony is completed. Added benefit, as you run to Jesus and hide yourself in the comfort of His presence, growth always follows.

Stay focused on Him, let every trial chase you deeper into His presence and search His Word for scriptures to stand on! Turn your crossroads into a direct path to victory in Jesus name!

Proverbs 29:25 (KJV) The fear of man bringeth a snare: But whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV) Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

Psalm 91:1-7 (TPT) When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed
