Glorious Living

Ephesians 1:11-12 (MSG) It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.

Did you catch that? God has a design for us to have glorious living! Glorious means magnificent, wonderful, delightful, marked by great beauty or splendor. Part of His purpose for everyone is to enjoy their life. This doesn't mean do whatever we feel is good in the moment - this is doing what we were created to do way before the foundations of the earth were formed. This is where our true inner-peace will come from and that my friend, is GLORIOUS! Living each day on purpose for His purpose, blessing others, encouraging one another, sharing the goodness of God's love with those you meet… that is MAGNIFICENT!

No matter what storm we go through or which obstacle the enemy throws in front of us, God is with us, He is on our side, He is for us and we share in His victory! Isn't that glorious? Our enemy has already been defeated, we have no reason to fear. The sacrifice Jesus made on the cross took care of it all. He will show us how to live as we press in to Him - spend time getting to know Him and who He is. Who is Jesus to you my friend? He has so much in store for us that we cannot even fathom it today, but each day as we grow closer to Him, we become fashioned more and more like Him. May we boast in Christ alone and receive all He has for us to live a glorious life representing His Kingdom!

John 10:10 (TPT) A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

Psalm 16:11 (NLT) You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
