Deeply Loved
Daniel 10:19 (TLB) “God loves you very much,” he said; “don’t be afraid! Calm yourself; be strong—yes, strong!” Suddenly, as he spoke these words, I felt stronger and said to him, “Now you can go ahead and speak, sir, for you have strengthened me."
As we enter the new year we must know just how loved we are. Without that knowledge, we will not completely understand our value and how much God desires our time and attention. He gave His Son to close the gap between Him and His children. The moment Christ breathed His last breath, the veil of separation was torn in two. We were instantly given access into the thrown room of God!
Without this knowledge we will not comprehend the importance of drawing closer to Him. He desires to spend time with YOU! As you begin to grasp that concept, prioritizing time with Him will become a desire and no longer a chore.
When you get a glimpse of just how loved you are, you become a powerful tool in God's hands. The tactics of the enemy will no longer control or intimidate you, sin will become offensive and faith inevitable. It's easy to completely trust and desire to be with someone who you know without a shadow of a doubt, cares that much for you!
Stop expecting the worst or preparing for negative results. You are deeply loved and favored by God! Get excited about what your future holds and trust God in the face of any opposition! That is only allowed into your life to build you up and give you a powerful testimony of the redemption of GOD!
Yes, trials will come and with each one, you have a choice, turn from God and give it your full attention or focus your eyes on Jesus, worship Him in the midst of the storm, study His promises concerning your situation and use those scriptures to defeat the enemy on every level. All the while, never giving Him more attention than you give your deliverer. The enemy's attacks are simply diversion tactics. He is also fighting for your attention. Stay focused on the one who gave everything for a relationship with YOU!
