Dearly Loved

Your failures, how you've been treated or what people have said about you does not define you. My parents were in their 40's and had just arrived to a new country when they found out they were going to have a baby. As a child I was often told I was an accident, that coupled with abuse from their best friend left me feeling worthless. My story is not unique, but each of us have had things spoken over us or done to us that has chipped away at our self worth in some way. Maybe you've experienced rejection from someone you've loved, disappointment in the choices you've made or a general dissatisfaction in who you are or the life you're living. Look up!!! Regardless of the circumstances of how you were conceived our God meticulously formed you in your mother's womb. He knew you before you were born and wanted you!

He wants you to know that He loves you and desires a relationship with you! Cry out to Him and give Him the broken pieces of your heart. He made it and He knows exactly how to knit it back together and make it stronger than it has ever been. The only thing that defines who I am today is Dearly Loved! There's nothing greater than experiencing His forgiveness, love and mercy!! Let that be what defines you!!

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Ephesians 5:1 Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children.

1 John 4:7-10 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
