Overflow, Overflow!

Joel 2:23-24 (NLT) Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring. The threshing floors will again be piled high with grain, and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil.

Begin to praise God for all He has done and all He will do in the future, never doubt the goodness of our God! He is always there, no matter where you go and no matter what sin you may be caught up in, He is faithful to forgive as we repent before Him. He has everything we need to live in victory on this earth. He has provided us with His Holy Word that will come alive to us when we diligently seek Him and search for answers. He is our peace in the storm, our safe hiding place when fear tries to creep in our hearts, our comforter when we are down, our strength when we are weak, and so much more! He is the God of more than enough - won't He do it!?

2 Corinthians 9:8 (TPT) Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.

We are positioned to have more than enough not so we can have it all, but so we can be a blessing to others! When you find something great, you want to share and tell everyone you know. The greatness of our God cannot be any greater - so here is our mission - share the gospel with all the earth, love one another, keep God first in all you do, seek His wisdom and counsel, pray for others (even the ones you don't like), and allow your light to shine so bright among the darkness. The darkness cannot remain when light is around. Desire to have the love of God overflow so much in your life that you begin to pour out His love on others through various ways - acts of kindness, financial gifts, serving, feeding, spending time with the lonely and forgotten, no matter what it is, God will provide for you as you go - so don't wait around for the provision, just step out of that comfort zone and do what He has called you to do! Overflow, overflow, God fill us up until we overflow!
