Deep Calls to Deep
There is a place... deep inside the crevices of His presence, a place few have entered and none have experienced and remained unchanged. It's a place where deep calls out to deep. It can only be entered by the arms of the Spirit as He carries us there. It's only revealed to those who's worship is sincere, passionate and uninhibited. It's impossible to spend time repenting of failures then begin to worship Jesus for His incredible sacrifice and love and not experience His life changing presence.
As I approach, it never ceases to amaze me... the God of the universe... my Savior, Redeemer, Bride Groom and Lover of my soul... His presence becomes weighty and thick. It's hard to breath as my heart races...I'm overwhelmed... It's unimaginable. In His arms time stands still, minutes turn to hours and at times very little is spoken but much is felt. It's as a child, in her father's arms dancing as she stands upon his shoes. A marvelous dance lead by one as the child has surrendered full control of her movements... I want to dance... to be fully surrendered to His lead and every prompting of His Spirit. Yielding my actions completely to Him. No longer controlled by my senses but feeling what He feels, seeing as He sees, hearing what He hears and loving as He loves. I fall so short... yet here... in His presence the possibilities are limitless... my heart cries for more... to be changed into a reflection of His heart. What seemed impossible begins to be revealed in the deep depths... deep under the shadow of His wings. It's a place where our peace is beyond our understanding, regardless of the chaos that may be knocking on the outside, nothing can penetrate this place of surrender, worship and love.
Psalm 42:7-8 Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me. A prayer to the God of my life.
Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings,
Song of Solomon 2:10 My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away."
