Worship Him!

This devotion is different, I always write what flows from my heart, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Today, I felt the Lord was about to do something different. I asked Him if we were writing a poem. Unsure of what He had planned, this is what poured out… read it and give God the praise, appreciation and honor that flows from your heart. Just take a few moments after you’re finished reading this and focus on His faithfulness, beauty and love for YOU! Then worship as you share your heart with Him.

In the midst of the thicket, you beckoned me to you.

You heard my cry for help, the torment of my soul.

You found me weak, broken and covered with filth.

You took my hand and lifted me from the gutter, wiped my tears and washed me clean.

You adorned me in a pure white gown of righteousness.

What was it that attracted you?

How could you look at such depravity and see beauty or anything of worth?

How could you love one who was so angry, bitter and crushed?

The beauty of your love brought such ecstasy to my soul!!

Your love sprinkled with the blood that paid the ultimate price brought relationship, freedom, peace & healing…

I don’t understand…How? Why???

I never deserved it, there was nothing good to be found in me…yet…you stood there with arms wide open and your eyes…those eyes…they saw through the facade…they see deep into the crevices of my soul and they reveal nothing but love for me!

It’s never withheld…never hidden…it just keeps flowing…keeps giving…keeps healing, pulling me deeper and deeper…my love overflows for you!

I’m overwhelmed at the beauty of my King!!

I love you!

I need you!

I worship and adore you!!!

Your Salvation set me free, your presence far exceeds the pleasures that are found in my greatest imagination… you are much greater!!! You’re my life, my dreams, my pleasure and my desire.

I am only complete in YOU!!!!

Thank you Jesus!

How does mere man… mere words express such overwhelming gratitude, love, adoration, worship & praise?

Psalm 63:1-8 (TPT) O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described.
