Selah
With all of the busyness and even our daily routine, there are very few moments to just pause and focus on Jesus. Those Selah moments are priceless. To stop everything and just sit at His feet and breathe in His presence. We must push away the temptation to think about everything that needs to get done or even the negative thoughts about our situation or the world around us.
Take that time to pause and close your eyes. Realize that Jesus is right there with you... arms open wide, eyes filled with love. The kind of love that sacrificed everything for this moment... He gave His life for this relationship with you.
Begin by blocking everything else out and just bask in His incredible and extravagant love. There’s nothing like that time with Him, where He has our undivided attention and we have an audience with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Now begin to think about all that He’s done for you. No matter what you’re going through, there’s so much to be thankful for. Share your heart with Him, give Him the praise and honor He deserves. If you’ll spend daily time to just focus on Jesus and His goodness, you’ll find you have peace, joy, and fulfillment, no matter what is going on around you! It puts everything else into the proper perspective.
Read the Word and feed your soul every day. Pray and bring your petitions to God, minister and do the work of the Gospel, but never neglect your intimate time with Him. That’s where you’ll find the greatest peace and direction for your life! I LOVE YOU JESUS!
Tonight, that’s all I can say or write... I’m just so in love with Him! No matter what life and the enemy is dishing out, I find complete joy and pleasure in His presence! Selah
Psalm 4:4 (TPT) Tremble in awe before the Lord, and do not sin against Him.
Be still upon your bed and search your heart before Him. Pause in His presence (Selah).
Psalm 32:7-9 (TPT) Lord, you are my secret hiding place, protecting me from these troubles, surrounding me with songs of gladness! Your joyous shouts of rescue release my breakthrough.
Pause in His presence (Selah). I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”
Psalm 62:8 (TPT) Join me, everyone! Trust only in God every moment! Tell Him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to Him. Believe me when I tell you—He will help you! Pause in His presence. (Selah)
