Too Late

Deuteronomy 10:21 (NLT) He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes.

When trials come, the enemy is quick to bombard us with his lies. It's his greatest tool in his plan to divert our attention from the power of God to his destructive behavior.

I chuckle as I'm writing this... It's too late!! After 47 years of following Jesus and witnessing His power in every area of my life... It's just too late! Let's face it, the biggest weapon he has is the threat of death... but it has no sting! Death? Passing from this life into the arms of Jesus... Yeah, that's not a threat, it's our greatest blessing!

Pain, sickness and disease? I've been miraculously healed of what no man has the power to cure! I've witnessed His power in so many incredible ways! What He's done before, He'll do it again and what He's done for others He'll do for us! Poverty and financial stress? We are tithers and we are in covenant with God! My list of financial testimonies is long and also miraculous! Rejection and betrayal? The only one who truly matters...the one who knows my every thought and action, loves me and He has promised that He will never leave me or forsake me! When your identity and satisfaction comes from Christ alone, you realize that if others don't have the power to give you peace, they certainly don't have the power to take it away!

There's nothing that our present or future holds that can penetrate the protective shell of living in the Secret Place. The only power the enemy has over your mind and life is what you give him by focusing your attention on his evil schemes. Worship diverts your attention from the trial to the source of life. As you give Him your praise right there, amid the raging storm, you'll find peace, even before you receive the testimony. Worship destroys the work of the enemy and the hold he has on your thoughts, emotions, and circumstances.

If you are new to this Christian walk and haven't developed your faith or testimony, speak to others who have. Be encouraged by the power of God that has been manifested in their lives. Study God's Word, I guarantee there's a scripture you can stand on that will perfectly fit your current situation. But most of all, stay focused on Jesus and simply enjoy His sweet presence as you prayfully share your heart and adoration for Him!

As your relationship develops, you'll soon realize that He can be trusted and you too will say, "It's too late to believe the lie!"

1 Corinthians 15:55 (KJV) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV) Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV) For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Psalm 91:1-6 (TPT) When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you.
