Take Courage
Hebrews 13:5-6 (AMP) For He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say, “The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid, what will man do to me?”
Isn’t the Lord absolutely wonderful? He is and will always be our Helper. Regardless of our circumstances He remains faithful to us and we have no reason to live in fear. As long as we continue standing on our foundation of faith in Jesus, the ideals and chaos of the world will never be able to grab ahold of us. Our trust is in the One whom promises to never relax His hold on us. When we feel alone, God is there. In Him, we have peace, joy, and rest.
Allow His Word to take root in your soul. How do you do that? Meditate on the scriptures - don't rush through the chapters. Ask God to reveal what He wants you to take away from a particular verse or story and think about it throughout the day. Write it down. Study it. Look it up in the original language. See how it's written in multiple translations so you can get a full grasp on the verse. Speak the scripture over and over. Memorize it and know it. Let it go deep within you. Why? Because when under pressure, what is on the inside of you will come out. If you squeeze a lemon, lemon juice will come forth. What comes out of your mouth when you become squeezed? Faith? Fear? Holy Boldness? Scriptures? Doubt? Insecurity?
This is just one practical way for you to build up your most holy faith. God hand selected you to be alive in 2024. Are you prepared for all you may face? How will you handle persecution? Do not sit back just "waiting on God" - faith without works is dead! Do your part to share the gospel with all the earth. Be led by the Holy Spirit and remember the enemy is defeated! Don't be afraid, be a willing vessel for God's glory to shine.
Take courage, you will never be left alone!
