Strong, Powerful & Unstoppable
I know many of you feel the way I do. We desire to please God and be obedient and effective for His kingdom. As we begin to examine ourselves, we see our weaknesses, mistakes, fatigue and failures. So, how do we get from what we see and know to be true, to what we desire? Do you know that we are so much more powerful than our human limitations reveal? We have the infinite strength of the Holy Spirit within us and He is capable of doing great exploits for the Kingdom of God through us.
As we become preoccupied with our own limitations, we fail to realize that our abilities and potential are not linked or limited by our fleshly abilities or lack thereof. We will begin to see His power manifested in our lives as we study God's Word and actively use it against our thoughts and the fiery darts of the enemy that are continually bidding for our attention. The truth is, some of the things the enemy speaks to us are not lies at all. They are actually the facts of our human frailty, and that's why it's so easy to fall into his trap. The great thing is, the yoke of limitation has been removed from our lives by the blood of Jesus and it’s made us MORE THAN CONQUERORS! WE ARE STRONG, POWERFUL AND UNSTOPPABLE!! NOT BY OUR POWER OR ABILITIES, BUT BY HIS ANOINTING AND THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD THAT’S WITHIN US!! That’s why the enemy works so tirelessly trying to convince us that we could never accomplish anything of worth! He is aware of the threat we would be if we fully understood our spiritual potential.
When you begin to realize who you are in Jesus, you become invincible! You believe that you can effectively accomplsh ANYTHING He calls you to do and EVERYTHING He's promised is possible if you'll believe!! Even in the midst of trials you will have no doubt that you are deeply loved, it's for your best interest and He's working it all out on your behalf as He's stretching and causing growth in your life.
Get to know Jesus through His Word and time spent in pursuit of His presence, then yield yourself to Him. He's got an incredible plan for your life that will be revealed as you position yourself to hear His voice, then trust He will equip you to fulfill your destiny.
When I finally realized my effectiveness wasn't about me or my abilities, but the amount of my life I was willing to surrender to Him and have replaced with His anointing and power, it set me free!! I can now do all things through Christ who gives me strength! If the anointing is not there, then it's simply not God's plan for my life. No pressure, just do what He's called you to do and allow the Holy Spirit to do it through you!! We must become vessels of God that are fully surrendered to His purpose!
Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV) So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts." Daniel 11:32 (NKJV) Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Romans 8:28 (TPT) So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. Romans 8:37 (NKJV) Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 2 Timothy 2:20-22 (TPT) In a palace you find many kinds of containers and tableware for many different uses. Some are beautifully inlaid with gold or silver, but some are made of wood or earthenware; some of them are used for banquets and special occasions, and some for everyday use. But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do. Run as fast as you can from all the ambitions and lusts of youth; and chase after all that is pure. Whatever builds up your faith and deepens your love must become your holy pursuit. And live in peace with all those who worship our Lord Jesus with pure hearts. Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
