Spiritual Isolation
Do you ever feel like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole? Like you just don't fit in anywhere? Maybe your personality is more reclusive and joining a body of believers feels very uncomfortable. Even when you are around a group of people, you still feel like you're alone and on the outside looking in.
The enemy has a way of trying to isolate God's children. He uses insecurities, fears, and comparisons. Let's face it, there will always be those that are more popular and talented... but I've spoken to many of them as well and some feel this very same way... they just don't fit in!
Do you realize our differences are what makes our relationships so special? We learn from those who are different than we are and guess what... everyone is different than us! It's called uniqueness and it represents the wonderful and special care God put into creating us. We've all had different experiences that allow us to minister in unique ways. There's a reason we are not the same! God had a specific plan for each of us and that plan is a part of the big picture that incorporates every member of the Body of Christ!
It's time we embrace our differences and corporately work together as one body to fulfill a greater plan! Yes! You are different! You are fearfully and wonderfully made! There is none like you and you are needed and necessary in the advancement of God's Kingdom! If you love Christ and desire to do His will, regardless of your personality or gifts, you fit in perfectly!! You are an appreciated piece of the puzzle and without you we do not see the full picture!
Don't allow the lies of the enemy to keep you from your calling or your family of believers. If you haven't yet, find a church that moves with God's Spirit and preaches His uncompromising Word! A Place where you can plug in and your gifts and calling can be discovered and used. Then reach beyond those 4 walls to touch the world around you! The Body of Christ has need of YOU!
Ephesians 2:19-22 (MSG) That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.
Psalm 139:14 (KJV) I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
1 Corinthians 12:27 (NKJ) Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
Psalm 139:13-19 (TPT) I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord! You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book. Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.
