Look Around

It's so easy, in this fast-paced world to miss the signs. There are people all around us daily that desperately need Jesus. If you will begin to pay attention, God will lead them into your path. We must become intentional about hearing the voice of the Spirit as He leads us to minister to the lost and hurting.

Yesterday my heart broke as we pulled up to a woman who was sitting on the side of the road. I rolled down the window and asked her how she was doing. She screamed at me and told me to stop as she covered her ears. I proceeded to tell her how much Jesus loved her and that I would pray for her. I've been interceding for this lost soul ever since. She wasn't ready to hear it, but a seed was planted, and God loved her enough to lead us to where she would be sitting, just so He could express His love to her... isn't that amazing? There are so many lost souls who desperately need to know that they are valuable, loved, accepted and wanted by a Savior who gave His life for a relationship with them!

Amid your daily, personal routine, don't forget to look around and ask the Spirit who He wants to minister to today. Maybe it's as simple as walking across a room and telling someone about the love of Jesus or doing simple acts of kindness to reveal His love. Pay someone's bill at a restaurant or in the grocery store line and let them know it's a gift from Jesus.

It's time we look past our own 4 walls and needs and begin to spread His love in ways few have experienced before. You never know how close they are to giving up and perhaps they even prayed, "God if you're real show me!" Or "God, if you really love me, show me!" And you may the instrument that He uses to reveal Himself to them! Don't miss this awesome opportunity to be used to bring life to a broken heart and dying soul! LOOK AROUND!
