In His Presence

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

As I enter His presence tonight, I examine my heart... what is it that I desire from this encounter? There are so many things I need to cover in prayer... that will come later, but this isn't the time for that. Besides... He said that if I would just seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, He'd take care of the rest!

My desire as I come boldly into His throne room is to bless Him! Oh... that my words would touch His heart and express to Him just how much He means to me...my Bride Groom... my love... Could there be such a thing as my Savior desiring time with me? Could I be so bold to think that? I just want Him to rejoice as I enter His private chambers because He knows He's about to be flooded with such love and adoration... How could this be? That He would desire and enjoy His time with us, the ones that He loved so much that He sacrificed His life and blood for this... this precious time together... Yes, there's so much more that His sacrifice has provided... but it all starts here, in His presence...

Yes, life pulls us in so many directions. There's no shortage of pain, responsibilities, obstacles, and diversions. So much bidding for our attention but if time were just prioritized to minister unto Him... to worship, honor, praise and adore... you'll be amazed at how quickly the pressures of life will dissipate and circumstances eventually follow... but right here in His presence... it doesn't matter, all that matters is pleasing Him...

My tears flow as the warmth of His embrace is realized... His love is overwhelming, His glory tangible and beautiful... nothing compares! Don't miss this... there's nothing more important than our time spent in His presence.

Psalm 84:10 (KJV)  For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalm 63:1-5 (TPT) O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God! I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory. For your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise you, God! Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise. I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul.
