The Waiting Room

Psalm 46:10a (NLT) Be still, and know that I am God!

Are you wondering when your victory is going to arrive? Staring out the window for breakthrough? Pacing the floors in prayer as you expectantly wait for God's answer? Feeling like there is a traffic jam in your connection with God? You are not alone - even the most faithful Christians can go through seasons of feeling a disconnect with Jesus. I would love to share a secret formula that works 100% of the time when you are praying and believing for a miracle but the truth is, we are all on a different journey with God. Our breakthroughs will look different even as we fight the same enemy. I know some even question if God sees them during their difficult season that seems to be never-ending… we are all growing together as we figure out our next steps in our walk with Christ. What do you lean to when you are struggling? The phone… social media… select scriptures… a special bible story…

King David found himself alone in seasons of his life and learned that he had to encourage himself - where does your strength come from? God is the source of our strength - He has given us a Counselor - The Holy Spirit - to minister to us whenever we need. Maybe you have been going through something and each time you get a glimpse of hope… you are hit with another attack from the enemy or another disappointment. No matter what your struggle is today, God is for you and He is going to use all of this season for good! He will get the glory for your turnaround, your miracle and your breakthrough. When things just aren't falling into place - press in even more - seek Him further - fast & pray - study the Word - write in a journal each day as you sort out your emotions. Whatever you do - don't give up! Keep fighting! The waiting is almost over… If you don't quit, you win!

Proverbs 2:3-5 (NRSV) If you indeed cry out for insight, and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver, and search for it as for hidden treasures - then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

1 Samuel 30:6 (NKJV) Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
