God's Plan for Man

Romans 8:19 (NLT) For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who His children really are.

We as Christians live so far below the power and authority that's been provided for us. Let's talk a minute about God's original plan for man and how that evolved throughout history.

In Genesis, God reveals His initial plan for humans. The greatest gift they were given in the garden was an intimate relationship with Him, their Father. They could walk with Him in the cool of the morning. Share their hearts, hear His voice and recieve direction for their day. They were clothed with His presence and oblivious to their nakedness. Man was to have power and dominion over the earth, every animal and even the vegetation. There was no fear of not having enough to eat or being eaten by wild animals. Man could speak and experience the fulfillment of his authority. The keys to this power were handed to Adam and Eve, but they in turn handed them to the enemy, as they heeded to his voice and chose pride and sin over relationship and the promises of God.

In the New Testament, through the shed blood of Jesus, we once again gain access into God's presence. The veil of separation is torn and His glory is revealed. By the blood, man is now invited to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior and regain the authority and relationship they once despised. The difference is, unlike the original garden experience, that first sin has now developed into darkness, depression, sickness, hatred, anger, diseases and all types of evil. The enemy has taken the authority he was given and run rampant with it. The earth, in comparison to God's original plan is now unrecognizable. For many, the story stops there and they have yielded to the effects sin has created. But now! There's a new plan in effect that few have experienced! God's plan through the blood of His Son has the power to set man free from both sin and the damage it created.

Through Salvation, we become free, but there's so much more. The New Covenant plan includes a new type of power and authority. As Jesus's flesh was torn through a brutal beating with whips, each tear of His flesh promised healing of our sicknesses and diseases!

The New Covenant also included access to a comforter, teacher guide and friend! The Holy Spirit - God with us! By His anointing, the manifest power of His presence within us, grants us power and authority over the control of the enemy! Greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world. That means the power of God that is active within our mortal bodies is infinitely greater than the power of sin, sickness, disease, anxiety, fear and depression!! We have been made MORE THAN CONQUERERS and it's time that we as the Children of God begin to look and act like it! Our Father never designed us to live a subpar existence! We were chosen and designed to manifest His power and presence in the earth!

That is why I teach so adamantly about getting closer to Jesus! It's only as we crucify this flesh and surrender EVERY area of our lives to Him that we will become the vessels of His love, power and grace that He has designed and called us to be! The world is waiting to see the Children of God take their authority back and step into their proper position in God's Kingdom! You have been created in the image of God! Begin to reflect His power and love to the world around you!

Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV) Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

1 John 4:4 (KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Romans 8:19-21 (TPT) The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God’s children.

Colossians 2:15 (NKJV) Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public

spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

John 14:12-13 (NLT) “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.

Matthew 10:1 (NKJV) And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirit, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

Luke 10:19 (NLT) Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.
