If My People...

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

As I’m hearing so many disturbing things about our government lately, I’m very disturbed in my spirit. More and more corruption keeps coming to the surface, in politics, the music industry and Hollywood. There’s an entire network of satanic worship and acts that are too gruesome to even discuss. Human trafficking of woman and children has become widespread and the list goes on and on. We stand back and wonder how things could have ever gotten so bad! It’s hard to wrap our minds around the atrocities that are being committed, but we need to wake up and face it head on!

Where has the church been while evil has been running rampant? Have we prayed enough for our country or have we been to caught up with the enemies diversions in our own lives? We need to seriously consider the above scripture. If my people who are called by my name (Christ-ian)... not the world, not those who are committing the most vulgar sins but Christians! That’s us folks! If we will humble ourselves and pray and seek His face... not only His hands of provision. To seek His face is to desire and actively pursue an intimate relationship with Jesus! Turn from our wicked ways... that means no more compromise or half hearted Christianity. We must have a heart that desires holiness and is quick to repent. Then He promises He will hear us and heal our land. God moves in behalf of our prayers. Let’s stop pointing our finger at anyone else and begin to take responsibility for the condition of our country. Repent, seek God and pray! Then, just as Acts 17 speaks of, we will then open the door for the greatest move of the Spirit that has ever been seen.

In the midst of this darkness, His light must shine and reveal His glory! It’s not over!! We serve an amazing God who’s just waiting for us to do our part! Don’t waste another minute! I for one am repenting, praying more for our country and seeking Him like never before! You can’t lose when your eyes and heart are set on Him and seeing His will manifested in our world.

Acts 2:17 (NKJV) And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.

Ezekiel 22:27-30 (NLT) Your leaders are like wolves who tear apart their victims. They actually destroy people’s lives for money! And your prophets cover up for them by announcing false visions and making lying predictions. They say, ‘My message is from the Sovereign Lord,’ when the Lord hasn’t spoken a single word to them. Even common people oppress the poor, rob the needy, and deprive foreigners of justice. “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.
