He Used Our Scraps!

It's very interesting to me that it's not usually our strengths God chooses to use for ministry. That's a good thing...I really don't have any natural strengths. All that I have to give is what flows from Him through me. What's interesting is He can actually use our weaknesses to touch the lives of others. What I mean by that is, if I wasn't such a mess, I wouldn't be able to relate to your mess. When I write about refocusing on Jesus it's because I know how easy it is to get distracted and lose focus. When I write about repentance vs regret, I can relate to those who suffer from guilt, because this is something that I too have experienced. When I share about being unqualified and the insecurities in what He's calling us to do, I can only write about it because of my own personal struggles.

There would be nothing for me to write if I hadn't failed, got back up and pressed forward in countless areas. So, the next time you think the Lord could never use you because you've failed too many times, realize that nothing is wasted with God. He's not looking for perfection, just humility, repentance and a heart that passionately pursues Him and His will!

As we seek Jesus and surrender our lives to Him, He will use and heal every broken fragment to bring healing and direction in the lives of others. Not a crumb falls to the ground that is wasted! As He leads you, don't be frightened by your lack of ability or even trust in your strengths, only trust in His anointing to accomplish whatever it is He's calling you to do! It's only His work in and through you that will make the greatest, life-changing impact anyway!

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 (TPT) Brothers and sisters, consider who you were when God called you to salvation. Not many of you were wise scholars by human standards, nor were many of you in positions of power. Not many of you were considered the elite when you answered God’s call. But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame the high and mighty. He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that he would shame the somebodies. For he chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent, so that there would be no place for prideful boasting in God’s presence. For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. And this fulfills what is written: If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done!

Exodus 4:12(NLT) Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.

Philippians 2:13 (AMP) For it is not your strength, but it is God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.
