Rescued to Serve

A few months ago, our daughter adopted a sweet little rescue dog named Buddy. It’s amazing to watch his gradual transformation as he’s developing a personality for the first time in his life. You see, abuse had caused fear and distrust in this precious little Havanese. He was so frightened that it took months of love and affection for him to even allow us to pet him. He had to be gently pried out of his box of limitation into his full and wonderful potential.

What has limited you? Was it words that were spoken over you, abuse, distrust, rejection, or failure! The world has a way of distorting our perception of who we were created to be. Then as we receive the gift of the incredible blood sacrifice of Jesus... we begin the process of finding out what God's original intent was in creating us. Our past life had no likeness to the transformation that's taking place. As we seek Jesus and study His Word...His love is revealed in a greater measure and our potential begins to unfold. His calling is greater than our ability, but we know there's more! 

The enemy comes with fear and insecurity, trying to prevent us from reaching our full potential in Jesus! There's a wall of opposition right before each blessing and every step of faith! Realize right now... you will never be qualified for the incredible purpose and calling He has for you! Well not of your own accord, but you with the anointing of the Holy Spirit!!! There's no limit! You have everything you need in Him!! What you can achieve in the Lord is not based on your qualifications, past achievements, talents, education, looks, weaknesses, strengths, or contacts. It's ALL in Him and from Him!!! Don't limit yourself or allow anything to keep you from becoming all that He's called you to be!! You are the habitation of God and nothing He calls you to do will be impossible for you to achieve! He within you is more than enough! 

Get a realization of how much you are loved and how much He desires to use you to touch the world! Then start preparing by studying, knowing, and acting upon His Word! Develop your relationship with the Lord. Don't waste time trying to figure it all out just keep seeking Him and moving forward into all that He's leading you to do!

No excuse will do! HE WANTS YOU! You have purpose and you are needed and necessary in God's Kingdom! We are all rescues waiting to fulfill our full spiritual potential!
