God of Wonders

Psalm 19:1 (TLB) The heavens are telling the glory of God; they are a marvelous display of his craftsmanship.

As I drove to church on Sunday morning, I became keenly aware of the miracles that surrounded me. As winter has turned to spring here on the Emerald Coast, the beauty of God's creation is breathtaking. Pine trees and lush green palms are stretching majestically towards the blue sky. Then I look at the grass, who tells it to lie dormant during the winter and emerge with multiple hews of green in the spring? As I cross over the bay, I see a pelican on the shoreline. I'm amazed at this huge body of water that extends for miles, yet it's a tiny fraction of what the ocean holds. The beach here is so incredibly beautiful. The sand white like snow and the sea is emerald green. It's as if an artist has painted a portrait of unimaginable beauty! All these things that we see on a daily basis, whether it's the ocean, lakes, mountains, trees, a sunset, or a budding flower, they are all miraculous! We need to realize we are surrounded by miracles every day. The birth of a baby or the new birth experience can only be orchestrated by the will and power of God. These are all things that He has set in motion and are divinely executed by the loving hands of our Father! Why is it that we've become accustomed to the daily miracles of life, yet we feel that some things are just too wonderful for Him to accomplish? What have you been crying out for? Healing, both physical and emotional, financial breakthrough, relationships, greater anointing to fulfill His will? Deeper encounters of His presence? There are so many things we pray for but there needs to be an enlightenment of faith! We must come to a place that we no longer base our beliefs on our past experiences. Our disappointments do not disqualify the goodness of God! All truth comes from His Word! That's why we must study, know, and live it! Then just as we believe that the sun will rise and set again, we must have faith that our God has the power to do exceedingly more than we could ever ask or imagine! He is still a miracle working Father who desires to manifest His power in your life! Your current situation is simply an opportunity for God to reveal His goodness to you! There's a beautiful miracle waiting and it's got your name on it! Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV) Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Psalms 77:11-14 (TPT) Yet I could never forget all your miracles, my God, as I remember all your wonders of old. I ponder all you’ve done, Lord, musing on all your miracles. It’s here in your presence, in your sanctuary, where I learn more of your ways, for holiness is revealed in everything you do. Lord, you’re the one and only, the great and glorious God! Your display of wonders, miracles, and power makes the nations acknowledge you.
