For Such a Time as This

Do you realize that all you've gone through your entire life has been preparation for your ultimate destiny? Think about those God primed in the Bible for their "SUCH A TIME AS THIS" moment. A beautiful, young Jewish woman, named Hadassah, is left orphaned and raised in a foreign country by her cousin, Mordecai. She's forcibly taken to become a candidate for the position of Queen. She is chosen above all others and becomes known as Queen Esther. She risks her own life to ultimately save her family and people. Think about the one moment in time or the many moments that defined the lives of Jesus, Moses, Joseph, Stephen, Noah, David, Daniel, and countless others.

There are also those who instead of following Christ chose to seek their own desires, such as Adam and Eve, Sampson, Ananias and Sapphira and Judas...does this make you think about your own particular legacy or purpose? It does me! There are so many things we experience in life. Many are painful and quite frankly, If we were given the choice, we would have avoided them all together. Yet, God takes all those broken pieces and shape them into a usable vessel of divine purpose.

There's a plan in the midst of the chaos and though you may feel that there have been times that you've gone off course, He was not surprised and did not have to come up with a plan B. He uses it all for His glory! What defines you or will define your existence when your gone? Don't waste the precious gift of life He's given you by only fulfilling your own desires... Study His Word and seek Him... spend enough time with Him to hear His voice...He wants to lead you to your "Such a time as this" moment or maybe even a future filled with them. He has a plan, and you are a part of it!

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Proverbs 3:5-7 (TPT) Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.

Jeremiah 17:14 (MSG) God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise! Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces ...get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of His death, His blood that poured down from the cross.

Esther 4:14 (NLT) If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”
