How Long Church?

How long will God have to wait for His precious Bride to experience His fullness? To trust Him completely and no longer question His incredible love and goodness?

As the experiences of life continually thrust at your confidence in Him, you must give Jesus your full attention. He has a plan for you, but until you begin to pull up all of the weeds that have taken root in your life, you'll never enjoy the fruit of being led by His Spirit.

There are so many things that we've put value in, but He never intended for us to experience. Then when the rug has been pulled out from under us, as God begins to remove the chaff from our lives, we are devastated and wonder where He's gone.

There's a cleansing process He desires to take us through. The Gospel without repentance is dead religion, void of the power of God to save our soul or change our lives. As we pray for our hunger to increase and begin to experience the presence of The Holy Spirit, we will desire to give Him more of our heart, dreams and time. He then reveals areas that must change and as we willingly surrender our lives to Him, He is faithful to bring about transformation. Get ready, it won't look or feel the way you expect. His ways are so much greater, yet they do not compare to earthly means or expectations.

There are times that change may need to come in the form of rejection, loss or even pain. Once the destructive habits and thoughts have been crucified or people have been removed, freedom, health and strength will be experienced.

I work in a dental office and patients who have badly broken and decayed teeth need extractions. There is pain leading up to the procedure and if the tooth is decayed bad enough there may be infection present. At that point it could be impossible to get the tooth numb therefore the extraction process, and it will be very uncomfortable as well. Regardless of how it feels, health cannot be achieved until we yield to the healing process. It may not always feel good, but none the less, it's necessary.

Do you desire a greater relationship with Jesus and the blessings of living a surrendered life? Repent of all of the sin that has held you captive and caused decay in your life and relationships. Trust Him, He planned out your life before you were born. Though you may have experienced some detours, He still knows the best route to your destiny and He's faithful to use all of the experiences of your journey as growth and ministry tools, nothing will be wasted! He desires to bring you to repentance and heal you of all regret! Repent and be refreshed! If you have been seeking God, but you feel like you are in an uncomfortable place, you are more than likely exactly where you need to be while He's preparing and rerouting you into His paths of righteousness.

Psalm 23:3-4 (NKJV) He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Acts 3:19 (NIV) Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

Matthew 4:17 (NLT) From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.

Psalm 119:71 (TPT) The punishment you brought me through was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me your ways.

Matthew 3:8-12 (TPT) You must prove your repentance by a changed life. And don’t presume you can get away with merely saying to yourselves, ‘But we’re Abraham’s descendants!’ For I tell you, God can awaken these stones to become sons of Abraham. The axe is now ready to cut down the trees at their very roots. Every fruitless, rotten tree will be chopped down and thrown into the fire. Those who repent I baptize with water, but there is coming a Man after me who is more powerful than I am. In fact, I’m not even worthy enough to pick up his sandals. He will submerge you into union with the Spirit of Holiness and with a raging fire. He comes with a winnowing fork in his hands and comes to his threshing floor to sift what is worthless from what is pure. And he is ready to sweep out his threshing floor and gather his wheat into his granary, but the straw he will burn up with a fire that can’t be extinguished!”
