Yearning

YEARNING: A FEELING OF INTENSE LONGING.

Do you know what it's like to want something so bad, it hurts? You go to bed at night thinking about it and wake up first thing in the morning desiring it more than anything else in the world. The free moments you have are spent praying for it...

No, I'm not talking about material possessions. It's more of Jesus I desire. To know and experience more of His love and to come to Him with uninhibited worship, that blesses Him in the way He deserves. To be free from the limitations of this flesh and soar in the Spirit, into new heights of spiritual productivity. To no longer base God's calling on natural limitations, but boldly do what He calls me to do without reservation. Oh, I currently obey and do whatever He asks, but most of the time my obedience is mingled with fear... fear prevents me from reaching my spiritual potential.

I desire to be so close to Jesus that His power and strength becomes more obvious in my life than fear and weakness. To be close enough that His still, small voice is clearer than the shouts of the enemy and His ability and anointing is more evident than my lack of talent.

We must become fully surrendered to His will and desires, until we no longer have our own dreams and nothing in life pleases us more than pleasing Him! To be one with Christ, till His dreams are our dreams!

As human beings we must realize that we are weak and powerless to change ourselves, but we are not hopless. Our God is waiting for us to desire Him in such a way that we are willing to do anything to become more pliable in our masters hands.

Never become so prideful that you forget just how imperfect you are. We must live a life of repentance, always seeking holiness and drawing closer to Jesus. Nothing in this life is worth separating ourselves from Him and NOTHING is better than remaining close to His heart.

Put everything else aside. The hurt, the pain, sickness, sadness, sin and desires and commit to put Him first by spending time with Him every day.

All those troubles you're focused on? As the focus changes, so does the size of your mountain. Time worshiping Jesus puts everything else into the proper perspective and you'll realize, even if you have nothing but Him, you're completely and utterly blessed!

Nothing in this life is more important than your relationship with Him and as you make Him your priority... everything else will fall into place! Don't miss out on the greatest blessing of your Salvation...an intimate relationship with JESUS!

Psalm 63:1-8 (TPT) O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God!cI’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory. For your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise you, God! Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise. I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul. I lie awake each night thinking of you and reflecting on how you help me like a father. I sing through the night under your splendor-shadow, offering up to you my songs of delight and joy! With passion I pursue and cling to you. Because I feel your grip on my life, I keep my soul close to your heart.

Matthew 5:6 (NKJV) Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
