Are you searching for answers but can't seem to get them? Need direction, healing, deliverance or a touch from God? Maybe it's His embrace you long for, His gentle touch and strong shoulder to lay your head upon. Do you desire to escape from the noise and busyness of your day and hear His voice whisper His love to you? Maybe there are things on your heart you can't share with anyone and shame is holding you captive. He loves a broken and repentant heart and He's quick to forgive, lift your head and wipe your tears.
If these are the things you are longing for, the fulfillment of your desire is deep in His presence. Begin to pursue Him with tenacity, chase after Him as if your life and future depended on it.
When I began my pursuit of Jesus, I would tell Him, "I don't care if you ever touch me, I'm going to touch you!" I would then worship, praise and adore Him until His heart was moved and He began pursuing me! I would think I was finished with my worship and get ready to leave my prayer closet, but feel the Holy Spirit pull me back and ask me to just stay a little longer... God doesn't play favorites, the relationship I have with Him, He desires to have with YOU!
It takes time to develop this type of relationship but how much does it mean to you? If you really want it, get serious and don't give up! My relationship with Him is great, but I haven't scratched the surface of all that He has for me and all that He is! I am desperate for more! There is so much to learn and with each new level, He reveals a little more of Himself and it's captivating! My heart is His, so I'll crucify more flesh to experience more of His Spirit.
What I have is not enough, I must go deeper... I hunger and thirst for more! Sacrifice some time to chase the One who is waiting to shower you with His love as you enter His presence! That's where you'll find what you've been looking for. He is calling to you... come away with me! Break away from the grasp the world has on you and begin your pursuit of Jesus.
Psalm 107:8-9 (KJV) Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
Song of Solomon 2:10 (KJV) My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Psalm 23:1-6 (NLT) The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows: he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 63:1-8 (NLT) O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. I lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night. Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely.
