It's Time to Get Back on Track!
Do you know how easy it is to get off track? I see it in my own life. A few days of getting busy serving God in different ways and getting pulled in different directions, I begin to get fatigued. Oh, God will understand if I go straight to bed tonight, I'm just so tired. Then I can't fall asleep because of all the things reeling through my mind. Things I must accomplish, find solutions for, and achieve. The next day I'm more tired than the day before and maybe even feel a little sick. I've talked to God throughout my day... But now, due to a lack of sleep and weakness in my body, I'm exhausted. So, I spend a few minutes reading His Word, praying, and offering a sacrifice of praise, without ever pressing in, tarrying or encountering His presence... The next day anxiety begins to set in, and my joy and peace has been sifted. Has God left me? No, I just lost focus of what's most important!
There's so many things in life that bid for our attention, so many ministries that desperately need help, but unless our time with the Lord is prioritized, all the pieces begin to fall like a house of cards. We must realize that our love, favor, strength, and giftings directly flow from our time in God's Word and the Secret Place of His divine presence. If we are not abiding in His glory we are warriors fighting without any armor and that will leave us vulnerable.
Yeah... I'm desperate for Jesus! My time in His Word and presence is what activates my anointing and gives me life, hope, joy, a sound mind, wisdom and peace! I simply cannot function without it! What concerns me is that so many have become accustomed to a long distance relationship with Him that they have nothing to compare it to. Depression, anxiety and fear has become their norm and they medicate it away while serving God empty handed. "Small" sins begin to take up residence without conviction, because they no longer hear His voice or notice the chasm that's been formed between them. That's a miserable existence! God has provided for so much more!
Don't be satisfied with spiritual mediocrity! The price for complete freedom, peace, power, authority and rest has been paid. Now run deep into the Secret Place and receive what's yours! It will change your life and flow through you to bring salvation, healing, deliverance and freedom to others! It’s time to get back on track!
Psalm 91:1-2 (NKJV) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Revelations 3:15-16 (NKJV) “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."
Revelation 2:2-5 (NKJV) “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.
Amos 7:7-8 (NLT) Then he showed me another vision. I saw the Lord standing beside a wall that had been built using a plumb line. He was using a plumb line to see if it was still straight. And the Lord said to me, “Amos, what do you see?” I answered, “A plumb line.”And the Lord replied, “I will test my people with this plumb line. I will no longer ignore all their sins.
Psalm 100 (NKJV) Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and [not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
