As I’m reading once again about Joseph and the process it took to go from a pit to a palace with incredible influence, power, and authority, I’m amazed at how God works! The trials weren't allowed into his life for destruction but growth and they positioned him for promotion. Though the road to his destiny was paved with disillusionment, pain, betrayal, slavery and imprisonment, each step of the way was leading to an incredible outcome!
How's your journey going? If you live in this world, you're subject to pain, heartbreak, and disappointment. But as your focus changes from your situation to your Bride Groom, praise will begin to rise even in the most difficult situations. Soon your condition will be transformed into something that can be used for His glory! Sure, the enemy's plan is always to destroy our destiny and even our lives, but God loves you! He has great plans to use you in fulfilling His Kingdom purpose. He will use whatever means to get you from here to there.
Make sure in every season you learn the lessons needed to rise to the next level of purpose and calling. We can get so busy worrying and fretting over the trial, that we miss what God is trying to teach us and is requiring of us right were we are. Unfortunately, some even shake their fist at Him and just like the children of Israel, they circle the same mountain once again. Never realizing that until the lesson is learned in this level, you'll never move to the next one. Chances are, you'll even begin to slip backwards into fear and depression.
No matter the trial, make sure it always chases you into the arms of Jesus! The alternative would give the enemy the victory he so desperately desires. Study and build your faith through His Word and spend time pressing in and seeking Him like never before! Find your peace in His strong arms! You'll come through with an incredible testimony, wisdom, power and a new realization of just how much God loves you! Remember you're not being destroyed, just repositioned!
Romans 5:3-5 (TPT) But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us!
Isaiah 56:8-9 (KJV) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
James 1:2-4 (NLT) Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
James 1:12 (AMP) Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
