Grafted to the Power Source

As Christians who genuinely love God, it’s easy to become frustrated with our own inadequacies. You may compare yourself to others and think, what’s the point?! How could I ever arrive to such a level of spirituality and effectiveness? You then begin to work harder at self improvement and noble tasks. This can actually be a cycle specifically designed to divert you from your true purpose and the discovery of your identity. It’s a vicious circle of reaching higher, coming short and missing the mark. So, you work harder to change yourself and produce more fruit, then once again you’re disappointed with the outcome…this destructive technique keeps you distracted from what matters most…

You may think we write too much about the Secret Place and going deeper with Jesus, but the truth is…it’s the only answer! It’s the answer to your problems, fears, depression, anxiety, relational and marital issues, ineffectiveness, spiritual impotence, sin, failures and weaknesses! As you delve into a truly submissive and surrendered relationship with Jesus, putting everything else aside and prioritizing time just to seek His face, worship Him and bask in His love and presence …heart and life change is inevitable. The Secret Place becomes a safe shelter to repent of your failures and seek His heart for change.

As you take time to wait upon Him, His Spirit begins to surround you and prune you of the things that displease Him. Layer by layer you become more and more transformed by His glory and grace. As you contend to know Him and you continue to go deeper and deeper, you no longer feel the need to artificially manifest your own fruitfulness. The fruit is naturally produced from the vine that’s grafted to the source of power, strength, love and life! His Spirit begins to flow, multiply your efforts and touch lives through you in a way your flesh, with all of it’s good intentions was never capable of accomplishing.

Ministry is dry and difficult unless the power source is radiating in and through you! Stop laboring and begin seeking Him with desperation! It will change every aspect of your life, your desires, relationships, abilities and effectiveness for the Kingdom of God!! Don’t depend on what you have or don’t have to offer! Rely completely on JESUS! Connect to His power source and you’ll be amazed at what HE can accomplish through you!!

John 15:1-8 (TPT) “I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest. The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!"

Ephesians 3:14-16 (TPT) So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.
