Because of the Blood
Hebrews 10:19-20 (TPT) And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation. For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him!
We have free access to the One who laid down His life for us. This access was given through the precious blood of Jesus. It is His blood that makes us brothers and sisters. As we have dedicated our lives to the cause of Christ, we can easily become caught up in the good works He has called us to and forget to access our Heavenly Father as frequently as we should. Jesus paid the ultimate price so we could have 24/7 access to the Father. Remarkable, wonderful, amazing… words cannot describe the depth of God’s love for us.
Do not hesitate going to the Father. We may boldly approach Him without fear of rejection. His love conquered death for you - cast down the lies from the enemy that say you are not loved and you have done too much wrong for God. We cannot earn His love but we must accept what Jesus did on the cross and receive it humbly. God wants to use us all to advance His Kingdom and bring glory to His name, the name above every name. Accept the call He has for you and move forward with a greater tenacity and urgency to spread the gospel. Time is not on our side but Jesus is! Hallelujah!
Today, I want to give a reminder that no matter what trials we face, we are not alone. God has fully equipped us with armor to withstand the strategies of the enemy and He is always with us. Use what you have been given to bring souls to Christ. We have been bought by His blood and we belong to Him!
Ephesians 6:11-18a (TPT) Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious. Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace. In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one! Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken word of God.
