Abide in the Secret Place + Rise Up!

Psalm 91:1-2 (AMPC) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

As we abide in the secret place we will remain stable like a strong tower - no hurricane will cause us to move. When we lean on God and place our trust in Him alone, then we can remain living in peace, knowing He is our Fortress – our place of safety and protection. One of my takeaways from the craziness of the lockdowns 4 years ago was being reminded that everything that is not eternal can and will change yet our God remains the same. My trust and hope is not in the stock market, religious leaders, political leaders or the position of the stars. My trust and hope is found in Christ alone. Jesus is everlasting - my Rock - and in Him we find hope, peace, strength, joy, and healing. Our fulfilment is in Jesus. Man will fail us, but God never leaves us nor forsakes us.

No matter what season you find yourself in today, remember that God is for you! Praise Him for all He has done and thank Him for all He will do. Even when we don't see it He is working on our behalf. Pray like never before. Pray for His Spirit to pour out upon all flesh! Pray for your leaders and brothers and sisters in Christ. We are not exempt from difficult times but we do have a choice how we react to them. Do not let fear settle in your mind, cast your cares upon the Lord. God has us on the earth right now for such a time as this and we are called out to be strong and courageous! Remove your focus from the drama of the media and shift your eyes toward Jesus. Follow His call and walk out your destiny. Remove any known sin and purify yourself before the Lord. Now is the time for salvation, the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. Rise up church, preach the gospel to all the earth for the Lord is drawing near.

Mark 16:15 (NKJV) And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Isaiah 60:1-3 (NKJV) Rise up and shine, for your light has come. The shining-greatness of the Lord has risen upon you. For see, darkness will cover the earth. Much darkness will cover the people. But the Lord will rise upon you, and His shining-greatness will be seen upon you. Nations will come to your light. And kings will see the shining-greatness of the Lord on you.
