A New Thing
Isaiah 43:18-19 (NLT) But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

A great time to renew our minds in the Word of God - our love letter from Heaven. Let's enter into this new year with thanksgiving and praise for all God has done and all He will do. Praise Him for everything going on in your life - even the struggles because out of them He will use the experience for good.
Are you facing something completely impossible? Begin today with the Way Maker - the Miracle Worker - King Jesus. He has already done so much for you - don't allow anyone or anything to come before your time with Him. He is worthy of our time, He is worthy of our praise, He is worthy of our worship. Use this new day to seek Jesus even more than before, write down specific prayers for this year and pray them through - pray each day until they come to pass and live a life pure before Him. Jesus is endlessly worthy - spend time blessing Jesus, get to know Him more, do nothing that would hurt Him, guard your heart from evil and worship the King! Keep Jesus at the top of your life - He must be your everything - if you search for wholeness in your spouse or children or your job you will be left dry - come to Jesus and receive His living water!
Colossians 3:5-11 (NLT) So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming. You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.
John 7:37-38 (TLB) On the last day, the climax of the holidays, Jesus shouted to the crowds, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water shall flow from the inmost being of anyone who believes in me.”
