Freely Give & Worship
1 Chronicles 29:14-17 (MSG) But me—who am I, and who are these my people, that we should presume to be giving something to you? Everything comes from you; all we’re doing is giving back what we’ve been given from your generous hand. As far as you’re concerned, we’re homeless, shiftless wanderers like our ancestors, our lives mere shadows, hardly anything to us. God, our God, all these materials—these piles of stuff for building a house of worship for you, honoring your Holy Name—it all came from you! It was all yours in the first place! I know, dear God, that you care nothing for the surface—you want us, our true selves—and so I have given from the heart, honestly and happily. And now see all these people doing the same, giving freely, willingly—what a joy!
What a blessing it is to give, knowing that it all comes from God anyway! HE is our source and our provider. He lacks in nothing and withholds no good thing from His children. Are we willing to be obedient so the doors of provision remain open? This passage really speaks to me in this season as we continue working on our church building - our place to worship our Creator and serve our community - all for His glory! The vision He has imparted in us is too big for us to accomplish on our own, which is exactly where we want to be - this way we cannot take any credit. All the glory goes to God.
When you are at a place of impossibilities, you are ready for a miracle. If you could always do everything on your own, would you ever seek after the One who gave you life? There is joy unspeakable when you step into the unknown and are completely trusting in God's strength and provision to take you where He wants you to be. His plans are always bigger and better than we can think of. We are all on a faith walk with God - where will you go on your journey? What will you allow? Do not limit our limitless God. Whatever you have in your heart to do for Christ, He will provide a way for you to do it as you walk out in obedience. Getting up and taking steps or even leaps of faith will help equip you for the next big thing He asks of you. Grow your faith a little more each day. Pray and trust God to come through for you as you grow in your relationship with Him. Follow peace and allow the Holy Spirit to direct your steps as you continue to worship Him!
John 4:23 (AMP) But a time is coming and is already here when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit [from the heart, the inner self] and in truth; for the Father seeks such people to be His worshipers.
Psalm 19:1 (TPT) God’s splendor is a tale that is told, written in the stars.
Space itself speaks his story through the marvels of the heavens.
His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky, showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship.
