Convinced & Confident
Philippians 1:6 (AMP) I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].
Every promise from God is yes and amen - are you convinced of this? Notice this doesn't say everything you pray for is yes and amen, it's all of His promises are yes and amen. He does so much for us and I feel like the church in general needs to do a better job at showing our gratitude.
Some are just not yet convinced that God wants to do wonderful things for them and through them because they feel too insecure in what they are called to do or maybe face fear about the unknown. I think a big reason God doesn't show us the full picture of our future is because it is so great that we may allow pride to set in before it ever happens. We all know that pride comes before destruction and nobody wants that. Regardless of how great it is, only He will get the glory for it.
Man was never created for glory, all the glory belongs to Him. He alone is holy and worthy and wonderful. He will complete everything He begins. He will not stop in the middle of something and say it's too hard, the people are just complaining and wearing Me out. No, He will continue but the time frame will depend on you. Are you confident in what He is doing in you? Are you ready? Are you prepared? Are you prayed up? Have you fasted? Have you shared with others you trust?
No matter how terrible your circumstances seem before you, God is not done with you! He knows the beginning from the end and He will always come through on His promises. Have you owned up to your part? Are you studying? This is nothing to be overwhelmed about, this is something to be excited about! Like the first day of school, so excited to learn and meet new people and see what lies ahead for the year. Take each day with confidence that God is absolutely for you and stay obedient to His Word and watch the miracles that will come forth through your faithfulness to Him.
Numbers 23:19 (NLT) God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?
Acts 10:35 (AMP) But in every nation the person who fears God and does what is right [by seeking Him] is acceptable and welcomed by Him.
Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV) Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.
2 Corinthians 1:20 (TPT) For all of God’s promises find their “yes” of fulfillment in him. And as his “yes” and our “amen” ascend to God, we bring him glory!
