A Confident Hope
Romans 15:12-13 (NLT) And in another place Isaiah said, “The heir to David’s throne will come, and he will rule over the Gentiles. They will place their hope on him.” I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Is your joy and peace in need of a resurrection? Are you feeling hopeless lately? Romans 15 has the solution for this: trust in God - completely put your trust in Him - then… you will overflow with confident hope which comes through the power of the Holy Spirit. You will be filled with joy and peace because your trust is in The Almighty God rather than yourself or others. We don't always know the best way to pursue something and we don't always make the best decisions but we do have the Holy Spirit on the inside of us and He will guide us through our journey and protect us from the evil intentions of others as we serve Him.
Josh and I are going through a season of deeper trust in God as we navigate a big transition. We have done everything we can do in the natural in order for these next steps to take place and the fulfillment of His instruction is coming to pass. During these times, we are learning to stay grounded in our faith, knowing that what God has spoken has not changed because God is not double-minded and He does not lie. The waiting period is forced us to seek Him even more than before. If the fulfillment of what He spoke would have come 6 months ago, we would not have been driven to the place we are now in our walk with Christ. We are continually growing in our relationship with Jesus and will do so until we get to our final home in Heaven.
This waiting period has caused a lot of great things to happen and line up in place that just took a little longer for us to see in the natural. Do not grow weary in doing good, if you don't quit you win!
No matter what your circumstances look like today, continue to press in and seek God for your situation, doing all you know to do in the natural and as you trust in Him, you will see miracles take place because God works in the realm of the supernatural! Christ is our hope of glory!
Colossians 1:27 (TPT) Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!
