I Must!
Matthew 10:8 (TPT) You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people and raise the dead back to life. Freely you have received the power of the kingdom, so freely release it to others.
In my prayer time today my cry to the Lord is I MUST!!! His command to us is to preach the Gospel, make disciples, raise the dead, heal the sick, bring deliverance, and reveal His Kingdom to the earth!! In John 14:12 Jesus tells us that greater things than He did, we would do as well! These messages from the Lord are non-negotiable! He's given us a mandate as His people, along with the power and authority to carry it out!!
Peter was so saturated with the presence of God that His very shadow healed the sick... they would bring them out on beds if necessary and they were ALL healed! It even goes so far as to say that His Spirit filled Words were infused with power to touch hearts and draw men unto Jesus!!!
Was Peter a perfect man! Absolutely not! He denied Christ 3 times not long before His upper room, Holy Spirit encounter. But He was a man who passionately loved Christ and was willing to tarry and pray until He was endued with power from on High!
I MUST!! I can no longer wait till I'm perfect enough! That's a lie of the enemy! We will never be perfect, but we can be Holy and righteous!!! It's by the blood of a Jesus that we are redeemed and sanctified for His service!! It's time we get off the couch, study, pray, worship and tarry in His presence daily. Then step out by faith and believe His promises are true and they are for us to use today!!! There's no more time to waste! It's time and I MUST see His will be done and His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven!!!
This earth is filled with people who are desperate to experience something real and unfortunately many churches have left them empty and wanting. They are more interested in making them comfortable and not convicting or offending them, than allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to manifest in their services! It's only by His Spirit will change occur in the hearts of people. In Mark 16:20 when the Word was preached, signs followed!!
It's time we seek God, Study His Word and tarry in His presence until we are endued with the power to show forth His signs to this generation! Not for our glory, but to show His love displayed in a tangible way. Many are turning to Satanism because they've seen his power, even though it's evil and destructive, they know it's real. It's time they see the power of the all mighty God at work in a personal way as He touches, heals and manifest His presence in their lives! I don't know about you, but I MUST allow God to use me as a vessel of His Glory in the earth!! I MUST!!!
Mark 16:20 (KJV) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Luke 24:39 (KJV) And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Acts 2:37-41 (NLT) Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away all who have been called by the Lord our God.” Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging all his listeners, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!” Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.
Acts 5:14-16 (NKJV) And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
