Heaven's Most Holy Place

behind the curtain

Hebrews 10:19-22 (NLT) And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

Let's go right into the presence of God - yes, yes and yes! All because of the great sacrifice of Jesus, we have direct access to The Father - we can enter into the Most Holy Place - the deepest parts of the Secret Place with God. It is a mystery to many because not all will make the sacrifice of time to enter in and be a part of something so wonderful. There is more to this wonderful place than we know - because each time we get closer to God, we have to shed less of ourselves. We cannot enter into the presence of God with bitterness and selfishness ruling our minds. We must enter in His presence with sincere hearts that completely trust in Him! This is key - are you genuine when you come to your prayer time with God? What are your motives when you seek Him? God knows all and God sees all, He will definitely see through any pretending.

This Most Holy Place is where the burdens of this world are lifted and the weight of God's glory falls on us and Jesus is the only person on our mind. It's when we have a revelation of who God is to us and the price that was paid for our sins so we could live in freedom. It's an escape from this natural realm into the spiritual realm where God's presence is tangible and we yearn to know more about our wonderful Savior so we can be just like Him. Here is where we will find rest… it's not something you find on an expensive vacation or on the couch in front of a tv. This is rest for our souls so we can be filled with the peace of God and not filled with the worries of the world around us. This is how we live an abundant life no matter what our circumstances are because we will not be affected by them for we know God will work everything out for our good.

Psalm 44:21 (AMPC) Would not God discover this? For He knows the secrets of the heart.

Philippians 4:7 (NLT) Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28 (NLT) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
