Fearless, Faithful, Strong & Courageous

Why would God call Moses to lead His people out of Egypt, then harden Pharaoh’s heart against him? Moses is called by God to lead them to the Promised Land. God gives him the very words he is to speak to Pharaoh, yet the plan appears to have been sabotaged. How difficult would that be? You’re following God’s directions to the tee, yet you’re seemingly being steered way off course. Instead of favor, your met with opposition and instead of an open door, it seems to have been slammed shut! Now you’ve got to deal with plagues, flies, lice, frogs, blood, death, etc…and you just want to move forward with all that God has called you to do! Why the detour?? What’s the hang up!?

The plans of God are always much more in-depth than our limited understanding could ever comprehend. This isn’t just about moving His people from here to there, but it’s about establishing His authority, power, trust, strength, protection, provision, love and faith in the hearts of Moses, Aaron and His people. He was also revealing the infinite power and wisdom of the God of Israel, so that all men would honor and fear both Him and the children He had chosen as His own. While we are waiting for His promises to unfold, He’s doing a deep work of righteousness within our souls and it comes from the pruning and molding process that shapes us into the vessels that will bring Him the most glory! We all have different callings, dreams and desires. Yes, God has a plan for each of His beloved children, but the route is never direct and rarely smooth. Where He’s taking us, we will need faith to be evident in our lives and that only happens as we come to know our God and have some understanding of His ways. We must trust Him completely in the journey so that the lies and intimidation of the enemy could never shake us or make us fearful of the future. He is building a powerful army of Warrior Brides who are fearless, faithful, strong and courageous! There’s a process to this type of growth and it’s not formed out of ease and self seeking pleasures. It is imparted and extracted from a people who are completely surrendered, familiar with trials and have seen first hand the miracle working power of a God who’s love is incredibly manifested in and through their lives. We grow the most in the most difficult seasons. Desperation can be breeding ground for the passionate pursuit of God, which brings limitless growth, peace and strength! Don’t despise the trial or wonder if you’ve somehow ended up here because you’ve missed God. If you love Him and you’re seeking Him with all of your heart, chances are…you are exactly where you’re supposed to be, while you’re on course to where He’s taking you! In the midst of your personal storm, decide today that you will not retreat and you will chase after Him with greater passion than ever before! Amp up your time in His presence and glorify Him with your life! We must be desperate for Him and desire change and growth so that we can fulfill all of His desires! As the enemy schemes for your demise, wreak havoc against the forces of hell as his plans are destroyed and you emerge strong, powerful and courageous by the Spirit of God!! Remember, David’s battle with a lion and a bear prepared him to fearlessly stand before a giant! Psalm 31:23-24 (TPT) Listen to me, all you godly ones: Love the Lord with passion! The Lord protects and preserves all those who are loyal to him. But he pays back in full all those who reject him in their pride. So cheer up! Take courage, all you who love him. Wait for him to break through for you, all who trust in him! Psalm 126:1-3 (TPT) It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion! We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The Lord has done great miracles for them!” Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed! Joshua 2:7-9 (NLT) Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” 1 Samuel 17:34-36 (NASB) But David said to Saul, “Your servant was tending his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and took a sheep from the flock, I went out after it and attacked it, and rescued the sheep from its mouth; and when it rose up against me, I grabbed it by its mane and struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.”
