EMPTY, LONELY, ANXIOUS, STRESSED & FEARFUL

Empty, lonely, anxious, stressed and fearful. Being a Christian doesn't make you exempt from these emotions, but spending time in the presence of Jesus, enveloped in His love does.

These words all describe me if I spend even one day outside of His embrace. My strength, peace and sound mind, directly correlate with the time spent praying, worshipping and reading my Bible. You see none of us ever "arrive" to a place of having it all together. If we think we have, we are probably operating in pride. The closer we get to Jesus the more we realize we are undone and in need of His divine intervention!

Each new day, every morning I awake, I'm more desperate for Him than the day before! We have so much to do and accomplish for His kingdom, yet our ability to make any impact is only found in Him, so we must draw closer!

Those thoughts... the ones that fight for our attention and are replayed over and over again? They will follow with temptation, terror, insecurity, anger and sin if entertained. Your answers can't be found in a bottle, drug, money or relationships. Our minds must be bathed in God's Word each and every day or the negative influence of the enemy will take root and lead us further and further away from Christ and the life He intended for us. Make Jesus the object of your desire!

Empty, lonely, anxious, stressed and fearful...If those words describe you, don't wonder why He's not coming to where you are with your healing, strength, peace and deliverance, enter into where He is and receive it!!

Ephesians 5:26-27(TPT) to make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the pure water of the Word of God. All that He does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to Him —glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw.

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Psalm 73:25-28 (NLT) Whom have I in heaven but You? I desire You more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever. Those who desert Him will perish, for you destroy those who abandon you. But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.

Psalm 121:1-3 (TPT) I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realize that our true help and protection come only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth. He will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall. God is my keeper; He will never forget nor ignore me.
