The Lord is My Light

Psalm 27:1 (NLT) The Lord is my light and my salvation—Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life—Whom shall I dread?

As we walk close to the Lord, we don’t have to live in fear or dread. We can live in peace knowing our God is for us and He is our refuge. He is our place of rest and comfort; in His presence we find fullness of joy. No matter what circumstances stand before you today, know that God is fighting for you and you do not need to worry or live in fear. Isaiah 45 says He goes before you and will level the mountains – what a great promise to stand on! He truly is our light, guiding our journey and leading us toward righteousness.

As the world continues to navigate through these perilous times, let’s remember to keep our faith and trust in God so our light may shine bright in the darkness around us.

He has an amazing plan for you, will you trust in Him as you go? Remember, God is the Way Maker and your provider! Praise Him as you go, no matter the circumstances because He is always worthy to be praised.

Isaiah 45:2-3 (NLT) This is what the Lord says: “I will go before you, Cyrus, and level the mountains. I will smash down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name."
