Designed with Purpose
Do you ever wonder why you are here and what God's plan is for your life? I used to get so frustrated because I had no natural gifts that I felt I could use to glorify Him. I wanted to serve Him, but didn't know how or what I had to offer.
He has designed each of His children with purpose. You were not an accident and you are not second best. Every good, bad and ugly thing you've ever experienced has made you unique and there's a work that only you can do. There are people that God desires to touch and He wants you to be the vessel He uses to lead them to Jesus and set them free. Life can be busy and we can get so preoccupied with our own issues that we forget it's really not all about us. If we let him, the enemy will even cause constant distractions to keep us from finding our calling and purpose because He knows the power there is in a vessel fully committed to Christ.
So how do we figure out what His will is for our lives? SEEK HIM! Move forward with what Christ wants for you by reading your Bible, learn about His expectations, promises and love. Spend time with Him... enough time to get close enough to clearly hear His voice. You will then receive His marching orders and the giftings and anointing to fulfill the calling He has for your life! Once you understand your purpose, continue to seek Him for the strength to do His will.
As you begin to pursue Jesus out of your love for Him and a desire to build your relationship, you will mature in your Christian walk and your purpose will naturally manifest as a result.
1 Corinthians 2:9-14 (NKJV) But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
