He is with You

Close your eyes and set you mind on Jesus for a moment. Do you see Him before you? I’m not asking you to imagine Him, but to truly look upon the one that is standing before you. He is there looking intently into your eyes. You are His Bride and until you realize how near He is and how much He loves and desires you, you will not fully understand how important it is to spend intimate time with Him. Once you do have a realization of His tangible presence and you begin to understand that He's right there in front of you …it will block your view of the enemy and his devises. They are both bidding for your attention…which one will you give it to today?

His love is so strong and overwhelming, but it can't be experienced or understood without taking time out to simply bask in His presence. It takes time to develop an intimate relationship with our King. It takes showing up and worshiping Him even when your too tired and you feel nothing...it may seem that He's miles away, busy with more important things, but the truth is, you're the apple of His eye and His desire is for you. As you continue to prioritize your time for Him... one day... heaven opens up and you're ruined for life without His presence.

There was a preparation process for a woman's one night with the king. She would be bathed in oils and special perfumes until they saturated her skin and made her fragrance pleasurable to him. It would entice him to choose her as his bride. So it is with our relationship with God. You've already been chosen, but there's a process that changes the very fiber of your being, until your character, personality and desires are transformed. He wants to bathe you in the sweetness of His presence until all those that know you, recognize that you've been with the King of kings. He stands before you now...calling you into deeper depths of His glory... don't look to the right or the left... don't allow distractions to keep you from the fulfillment that comes from complete surrender to the lover of your soul.

Song of Solomon 2:10 (NLT) My beloved spoke, and said to me:“Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away."

Esther 2:12 (NLT) Before each young woman was taken to the king’s bed, she was given the prescribed twelve months of beauty treatments—six months with oil of myrrh, followed by six months with special perfumes and ointments.

Psalm 17:8 (ESV) Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings.
