Good Friday

Good Friday, the day my Savior, the love of my life, my passion, desire and the lover of my soul was beaten for our healing and nailed to a cross for our sins. His life was not taken, but freely given, His purity sacrificed for our filth. His death would have meant nothing were it not for His resurrection.
Many gods have died, but only the true and living God rose again and broke the chains of darkness that held us captive! As we repent of our sins and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are forgiven, accepted and set free!! The relationship broken through sin in the garden now restored and once again man was given access to the presence of God! What an incredible price that was paid and the result...healing, forgiveness, holiness, fulfillment, peace, relationship and...eternity...eternity with the Creator of the universe! The One who thought of and created us...Praise God we don't have to wait until the afterlife to experience His presence, walk with Him and hear His voice. He desires that relationship with us right here and right now!
Today, Good Friday, make a commitment to seek and to serve the one who loves you enough to have given everything for a relationship with you! Don't waste another day!
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
Hebrews 10:5-7,10,14,22 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said:“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—I have come to do your will, my God.’” And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
Galatians 1:4-5 Who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
